October 2011
To visit Germany is like taking a walk in the woods. Unlike in America, there were no bears, wolves, skunks or rattle snakes - the literal or the real kind. Below you see some photos of where we went. It was October and the weather was quite like California, some rain, some sunshine, BUT it was cold; there was frost on the roofs in the early mornings and the daytime temperature never went above 65 degrees Fahrenheit, even in the sun. On average the temperatures lingered between 40 and 55 degrees during the day, which required us to wear warm clothing. As they say in the old country: "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing..."
