Sunday, July 20th, 2014: I wanted to visit the Exploratorium in San Francisco, but got only as far as the Justin Herman Plaza, near the Embarcadero, where I heard one of the most beautiful renditions ever of "We shall overcome..."I don't know who the musicians were and whom they represented, but they were professionals, for sure, and their music was great.
Meanwhile, some people were setting up fake coffins draped in Palestinian Flags near the Vaillancourt Fountain - so, I decided to stay around in order to find out what was going on and to take some photos.
Below you can see the pictures I took while a demonstration march was forming to protest the then current Israeli attack on Gaza.
